What is “Ikebana”?

IKEBANA is the traditional Japanese flower art form where simplicity, symmetry, and harmony rule the scene, celebrating the grace of flowers, leaves, and stems. Ikebana is not just about flower decoration since it is more focused on shape, line, and space, using fewer elements to bring into existence a beautiful piece of art. A standard Ikebana arrangement consists of three objects—a tall branch, a medium-length stem of flowers, and a short sprig—and is positioned in a plain vase to represent heaven, humanity, and earth.
