The treaty was signed on 10th August 1920. The signing took place in Manufacture nationale de Sèvres in Sèvres, France. The treaty was between the Allied Powers of World War I and the Ottoman Empire. The treaty was for the division of the Ottoman Empire but was never ratified by the Turkish government due to the Turkish War of Independence; it was replaced by the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923.
