Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest peak in the world, reaching a height of 8,126 meters. It marks the western boundary of the Himalayas. Located in the Diamer District in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, it is situated on the other side of the Indus River from the Karakoram range in the north. Due to its height and the difficulty of climbing it, it is referred to as the 'Killer Mountain.'
