Background colour or effects applied on a document is not visible in:

  • (A) Print Layout View
  • (B) Web Layout View
  • (C) Reading View
  • (D) Print View
Background colours or effects, if set for a document, are usually not visible when the document is displayed under Print Preview. Although the prompts suggest options, which sometimes seem to be related to the options given in other multiple-choice questions, usually matching option D, the actual print preview will be the same as the printed output, and printers usually do not print background colours by default.
