Jallianwala Bagh Massacre occurred on the 13th of April, 1919. On this day, a British army headed by Reginald Dyer fired at an unarmed public rally held at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab. The public had assembled to celebrate the festival of Baisakhi and to protest against the arrest of Dr. Saifuddin Kitchlew and Dr. Satyapal.
