It will appear black (or very dark). Here’s why: green leaves look green in white light because chlorophyll reflects green wavelengths and absorbs red and blue. If you illuminate the plant with only red light, there’s essentially no green light to reflect, and the red light is mostly absorbed by chlorophyll—so very little light reaches your eyes.
