Rai Ahmad Khan Kharal (1785–1857) is a renowned Punjabi folk hero and a freedom fighter who led the rebellion in 1857 in Sandal Bar in Punjab. He belonged to the Kharal tribe, which is a Rajput tribe. He was born in Jhamra, which is now in Faisalabad District/Sahiwal in Punjab. The famous Punjabi hero of the 1857 War of Independence, Rai Ahmad Khan Kharal, died on 21st September 1857.
