Ghazwa-e-Tabook, or the Battle of Tabuk, took place in the month of Rajab in the 9th year after Hijrah (in the year 630 CE). Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) led a huge army, directing around 30,000 soldiers, the largest Muslim army in the Islamic era, towards Tabuk to encounter the impending threat of the Byzantine (Roman) Empire and its Arab allies.
