The latest and most accurate official and authentic data indicates that the Non-Aligned Movement consists of 121 member states. A recent UN announcement, as a representative of NAM, clearly stated that NAM is a “121-member organization”. Both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus confirm that NAM indeed consists of 121 members. Although some reports mention that NAM consists of 120 member states, this figure of 121 members is more accurate, as it was stated recently and by official government institutions. Moreover, NAM also consists of 17-18 observer states and 10 observer organizations.
