Maqam-e-Ibrahim, is a holy stone located within the Masjid al-Haram mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The stone is located 10 to 13 meters to the east of the Kaaba. According to Islamic belief, the stone has the footprints of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S), formed when he stood on it while he began to lay the foundation of the rebuilding of the Kaaba’s upper structure. The stone is now encased within a gold-colored metal and glass casing.
