The Truce of Hudaibiya happened in the 6th year of Hijra, i.e., March 628 CE. It was a ten-year treaty of peace between the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Quraysh of Mecca in the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah. It was a 10-year truce, allowing Muslims to return for pilgrimage the following year. It is often regarded as a significant, peaceful turning point in Islamic history.
