Where is the Great Barrier Reef located?

The Great Barrier Reef is off the northeastern coast of Queensland, Australia, in the Coral Sea. It covers more than 2,300 kilometers (1,400 miles) and runs from the tip of the Cape York Peninsula in the north to Bundaberg in the south.
