Where is the Great Sandy Desert located?

The Great Sandy Desert is located in the northwest corner of Australia, primarily in Western Australia and partly in the Northern Territory. The desert is situated between the regions of the Kimberley, as well as the Pilbara to the north, and the Gibson Desert to the south. Being the second largest desert in Australia, the Great Sandy Desert has vast sand dunes that cover 285,000 square kilometers.
